Edge-lit (lit from the side)

This type of lightbox illuminates the textile print from the side with powerLED, which ensures a good light distribution. Edge-lit has a good price/quality ratio. The advantages of Edge-lit are the relatively low power consumption and compact packaging, making the frame economical to transport.

Alternative LED technologies

There is a slight chance of shadow spots on the canvas where there is a lot of white/solid-coloured parts. To prevent this, you can opt for a profile with LED on Stabilizer technology. The textile print is illuminated from the back, with LED mounted onto stabilizers. This technology offers satisfying illumination in all cases. LED on Dibond is another alternative to Edge-lit. The textile print is illuminated from the back, with LED pre-mounted on a dibond plate. This technology is also possible with narrow profiles, which in turn creates an elegant and contemporary look. The unique features of LED on Dibond and LED on Stabilizer are two light intensities, three light colours, and the option to dim the light.
